Looking back on 2006, it seems to have been quite quiet, yet we have still found time for the last few of the Youth Alpha series, including a trip to Greenwich for the ice skating, our twice-a-month Friday night events (more about these below..), several film nights, joining the rest of the church on a trip to Spring Harvest, a few socials and of course a few trips to Norfolk for the sailing. We haven’t managed to sink any boats so far this year though (though two of the adults did manage to call the RNLI out in September!)...

FRIDAY NIGHTS:

On Friday nights twice a months we get together for a chilled catch up with some prayer, perhaps a bit about the persecuted church, a chance to swap experiences of the week, a talk about something in the news or a passage from the bible, a bit of music and a coffee.

At the moment it is called Creative Worship and Coffee (CWAC), mostly because I am not allowed to call it The Thong (as in “Slip into...”, “Do you have a Visible Prayer Life?”, “We won’t string you along” and many more similar comments). Got a better idea? Send us an email - PLEASE!
